Dear Friends,

During these trying times, the members of the UT Democratic Club will continue dedicate our energies to the advancement of Democratic values and supporting Democratic candidates who share our views. We are an active and dedicated group of individuals who are focused on bringing positive change within our community.

Our monthly meetings are a safe place where we can meet and share ideas with like-minded people here in Upper Township. The actions of the current presidential administration have many of us feeling off-balance and filled with concern and fear for ourselves and marginalized people in our community. We are committed to helping these people in any way we can. We welcome new ideas and new members who need to find a place where they belong. The Upper Township Democratic Club may be that place for you!

We are so grateful that New Jersey voters elected our democratic Governor Mikie Sherrill and Lt. Governor Dale Caldwell. With a primary election scheduled for June 2, 2026, our members have enjoyed meeting all of the Democratic primary candidates who are vying to run against Jeff Van Drew in US Congressional  District 2 representing the State of New Jersey. There are four candidates running in the primary. They are Tim Alexander, Zach Mullock, Terri Reese and Bayly Winder. Once we have our Democratic candidate, our club members will be working hard to get information out to the voters so we can finally unseat Van Drew. The General election will be held on Tuesday, November 3. 

We are pleased to announce that we have 2 local Democratic candidates running in this election for CMC Commissioner. Please consider supporting David Temple and Eric Morey for this important office. It's been a long time since we've had Democrats in county office. Their names will be on the ballot for the November 3 election. 

Please consider joining us as we work to bring positive change to Upper Township and Cape May County.
